We recently had several customers inquire about whether or not the mounting brackets for our running boards would interfere with the cooling lines for the rear air conditioner for the 2011-Up Ford Explorer; and the answer is they would not. The reason is because the cooling lines for the rear a/c. basically run near the center of the chassis; and our mounting brackets will mount near the chassis side frames; which basically means that there is plenty of clearance between our mounting brackets and the cooling lines for the rear a/c.
